In 2017, during a ski trip, two young Belgians wanted to drink tea to warm up and end a tiring day of skiing, while maintaining the festive "après-ski" atmosphere. So they had the idea of mixing alcohol and tea.
The result was not very conclusive but they decided to persevere and back in Belgium, they decided to develop this innovative concept. After several months of hard work, they succeeded in developing a recipe with subtle and balanced flavours: Guiltea was born.
